LIFE'S A BEACH

Our last topic in year 3, is about enjoying life. We are going to plan a beach party. The food, the games, the music etc.

So. how are we going to tell the time at the beach, if we don't have a watch or phone to help us? When will the party start and finish?

This website link, will start to explain how we might be able to work it out. It's all linked to the movement of the earth, and the sun and moon.

We will be making our own music from scratch, but to begin with we are going to learn the lyrics to a traditional seaside 'sing-a-long song' and create the instrumental part to go with it. (Developing the skill of creating an accompaniment to a song.)
