On behalf of Mrs Green, Mrs Lacey and myself, I would just like to say a massive thank you to the children and families of year 3 for all your generosity and kind words at the end of term. It has been a year of hard work, but lots of fun too (I hope the children agree!) and one that we are sad to see finish.

SCIENCE
In Hansel & Gretel base, we've been making the most of the sunshine. As part of our topic, we took our lesson outside to try and work out how we might be able to tell the time, without looking at a clock. Here we are discovering how our shadows alter as the position of the sun changes.

MUSIC/ICT
Continuing with our beach party theme, this week, year 3 have been exploring what music is good for a party and why. We decided that a heavy base line, a fast pace and a tune that sticks in your head is what's needed!
So, we have tried to create our own beach party music using ICT software to help us. Here is a couple of examples of our work which definitely have a bit of a rock vibe going on!

Our topic was very epic .We made puppets and it was fun . First we designed . Next we practised doing a blanket stitch. After that we made our puppet shape twice. Then we did a blanket stitch on our puppets.Also we made and we decorated our puppets and We got different materials . We made props for our pupet show.
